Easter, Birthday Cakes and Matryoshka Dolls

It's been a while since I posted, so much has been happening here. Lila had THREE egg hunts for Easter! One was based on a book we read together, another was at the Marin Country Mart, and the last was at Eric and Molly's house in SF. Molly hid play doh in her eggs, which was Lila's favorite, as she has been really into baking play doh cakes at home for people's birthdays lately. She even sings "Happy Birthday" and blows out the candles!

See below:

We had our morning hunt based on this book.

Lila also loves to play with the Matryoshka dolls that belonged to my grandma Adele. I remember exactly where they were in her house, my dad's childhood home, and feel so lucky that they now "live" in Lila's room. She is just beginning to understand how they fit together, and wants to "fit" them in often.

This is Lila's early morning hair do :)

More later!
